We always say that university is an important stage, and everyone must use it carefully to gain the skills that will help you in the future and during university. The skills I will be sharing with you today are highly recommended skills that would really help you a lot not just in your business career but in your daily life too.

I know a lot of people who always say to me “we wish we knew about these skills during university”, and then they start counting the problems they have because of this unknowing of these skills.

And this is really pissing me off, I don’t want to hear anything of this s**t anymore, so this is why I decided to write this article to everyone who still unknown of this skill, and if you have passed university, well, you still able to get these skills, they require time but yeah you don’t have any other choices.

#1 TIME MANAGEMENT

The first skill we have is time management, I know you may have heard of this term a lot of times, maybe from a friend, teacher, parents. But trust me, time management is more than what you think. A lot of people believe they cannot reach their dreams, travel to exotic locations, land their dream jobs, finish their projects before the deadline, get enough sleep every night, and spend enough time with loved ones because they don’t have enough time. While the real problem is BAD TIME MANAGEMENT

Time management is actually a big term that contains tools, strategies, and ways. Which by you can divide your time between your work/study, family, and your hobbies, thus you’ll be able to give each thing of your life its time.

Our time on this earth is limited, so knowing how to use this limited time that you have effectively will have a great impact on you, it will affect your happiness, self-satisfying, and your comfort. And to be honest, we are so lucky because nowadays we have a lot of tools and apps that can help us in managing our time effectively.

#2 ACCEPT CRITICISM

Criticism is a useful tool in any relationship — no matter whether it is business-related or otherwise. Although many frowns upon criticism and the critics who deliver it, criticism is necessary for building a successful relationship. A relationship is a connection, or lack of, between two people.

No matter what the dynamic of the relationship, if two people work together for a unified goal, then criticism is the only way to keep the relationship healthy, efficient, on task, and successful. I believe that any two people can form a respectful working relationship as long as both parties are open to criticism and are open to giving way to the wishes of the other — assuming they are reasonable and well-intended, of course.

#3 RESEARCH

So here you might probably say is research a skill, maybe you just go to google and search for what you want and you get it, but the truth is searching is more complex than it seems especially for academic searching.

In searching, there’re a lot of tricks and ways in which a lot of people don’t know about it. And these skills and ways help you to get what you’re searching for easily and fast and the most important the exact thing you want.

You can learn more about research skill HERE

#4 PROBLEM-SOLVING & CRITICAL THINKING

If you are an engineer or you have studied something related to it, you probably have the critical thinking, you already have this skill, because people who study math, physics, and anything related. Are always solving problems- a lot of problems-, because of this persistence practice, he starts to see anything as a problem needs to solve.

Thus, he boosts the skill of problem-solving & critical thinking.

The good thing about this skill, it’s easy to learn and you can learn it anywhere. You can find a lot of free courses on this skill.

And there are also a lot of games that help to improve this skill, as an example “chess”.

#5 PRESENTATION SKILLS

You might probably think that you don’t need that skill, maybe because you think your work doesn't require this skill, maybe you work at an office or from home. But here is a thing, you really really really need this skill whatever your job/study is.

This skill will help you in your daily life trust me, I’ll give you an example;

Let’s say you have made a start-up and you need to persuade investors to invest in your start-up, in this situation you’ll need to present your start-up. So you’ll need to have presentation skills to persuade them and not get nervous.

Another example, in an interview, you are going to talk present yourself, talk about your life and another bunch of stuff, here you also need presentation skills, because if you passed the interview successfully, the job 90% would be yours cause not everyone knows about this skill.

I really highly recommend you to work on this skill and improve it and face your biggest fear “talking in front of people”, but once you start you will break this fear.

In the beginning, you can start in front of your friends or family, then move to the next and the biggest step “ in front of different people”.

And that’s it…

you might have probably noticed that I didn't give a link to any of these skills just in the search skill, why?

learn how to search by looking at the video and understand it well, then go and look at how to improve these skills online by yourself.
